Job Summary

Managing complex auto and commercial transportation claims, the remote State Licensed Claims Examiner will analyze coverage, complete investigations, determine liability, and evaluate damages while ensuring compliance with state contact deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Process complex auto commercial and personal line claims, ensuring proper documentation and coding
• Oversee the litigation process for litigated claims and coordinate vendor management for investigations
• Communicate claim actions with insured parties, clients, and agents or brokers as appropriate

Required qualifications

• Five years of claims management experience or equivalent education and experience
• In-depth knowledge of personal and commercial line auto policies, coverage, principles, and laws
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred
• Secure and maintain the State adjusting licenses as required for the position
