Job Summary
To support a remote team of nurses and audit roles, the full-time salaried DME Supervisor will manage clinical review audits, oversee staff performance, and ensure adherence to medical review guidelines while contributing to operational strategy and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly perform clinical audits and quality assurance reviews to maintain expertise and support business needs
- Supervise daily activities of clinical audit staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback
- Collaborate with management on needs assessments, capacity planning, and implementing new concepts
Required Qualifications
- Current active unrestricted Nursing license in good standing
- 3+ years of diverse nursing experience in inpatient or outpatient settings
- 2+ years of experience performing medical record audits in provider or payer settings
- 5+ years of experience in health care claims with expertise in ICD-9/ICD-10 coding and medical billing
- 3+ years of relevant supervisory or leadership experience in a similar business environment
