Job Summary
Serving as a key patient-facing clinical expert, the full-time State Licensed Clinical Care Counselor will provide empathetic counseling and care coordination for individuals undergoing the Caris Detect multi-cancer early detection test, ensuring a seamless patient experience in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver a high-touch, concierge-style experience that reflects a patient-first philosophy
- Provide pre- and post-test education, explaining test purpose, capabilities, limitations, and result types
- Communicate complex genomic information clearly while addressing patient concerns with empathy and professionalism
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Genetic Counseling or advanced Nursing degree (MSN or NP), or BSN with oncology/navigation experience
- Board certification (or eligibility) by the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) or relevant credentialing body
- 2+ years of clinical experience in genetic counseling, oncology nursing, patient navigation, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in patient-facing counseling and education
- Familiarity with the U.S. healthcare system, including referrals and diagnostic pathways
