Job Summary

Providing telehealth services nationwide, the full-time Remote Clinical Geneticist will conduct virtual genetic evaluations and consultations for adult patients, managing a caseload of new and follow-up visits while collaborating with clinical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual genetic evaluations and consultations for adult patients
• Order and interpret genetic testing, communicating findings and recommendations to patients and providers
• Document all encounters in the VA electronic health record and coordinate care with referring providers

Required qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible as a Physician Geneticist by the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG)
• Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Active DEA license
• Ability to pass a federal background investigation
