Job Summary
Combining clinical informatics expertise with hands-on data engineering, the full-time remote Senior Director of Strategic Analytics will develop AI/ML algorithms to improve healthcare quality metrics and drive performance improvement initiatives while advising executive leadership on ranking methodologies and strategic implications.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of hospital ranking and benchmarking methodologies, translating technical specifications into data requirements
- Design and validate AI/ML algorithms to detect documentation gaps and variations in clinical processes affecting quality measures
- Set the strategic roadmap for ranking performance and serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite and clinical leadership on quality strategy
Required qualifications
- Clinical background and licensure (e.g., RN, MD/DO, PharmD) or a graduate degree in Clinical/Health Informatics with significant clinical quality experience
- 10+ years of experience in clinical informatics or population health analytics, with direct experience in hospital ranking methodologies
- 5+ years of hands-on experience building data pipelines and ML models in Databricks, with strong SQL and Python skills
- Demonstrated experience applying AI/ML techniques to clinical or claims data for gap detection and quality measurement
- Ability to operate independently at a director level, driving projects from clinical hypothesis to executive recommendations
