Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Pharmacist, Utilization Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Review utilization management requests for clinical appropriateness and cost-effectiveness
• Coordinate with pharmacy technicians, pharmacists, and medical directors on UM activities
• Research and develop therapy-specific clinical policies and utilization management programs

Required Qualifications

• Pharmacy Degree required; PharmD preferred
• 1 year experience coordinating medication selection with prescribers; 1-3+ years of managed care prior authorization experience preferred
• Pharmacist license in good standing in state of residence
• Available to work 40 hours/week, including potential evening and weekend shifts
• Willingness to achieve and maintain licensure in multiple states if needed
