State Licensed Clinical Pharmacist

Job Summary

Providing clinical coding support remotely, the part-time State Licensed Clinical Pharmacist will serve as a liaison between formulary operations and clinical consultants, focusing on formulary changes, claims research, and coding consultations.

Key responsibilities

• Provides consultative guidance for standard and custom formulary changes in clinical applications
• Conducts 2nd level formulary and utilization management claim research
• Manages custom formulary coding work post client sign-off and translates client intent into code-able language

Required qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD
• Current and unrestricted Pharmacist license in any U.S. state
• 2+ years of experience as a Clinical Consultant or Clinical Pharmacist in Formulary/UM operations
• Experience conducting claims and coding research and analysis
• Experience working in RX Claim or other claims adjudication systems
