Job Summary
Offering a full-time remote opportunity for a State Licensed Clinical Pharmacist, the position focuses on providing clinical pharmacy expertise, making evidence-based medication recommendations, and developing clinical strategies to enhance pharmacy benefits across Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Utah.
Key responsibilities
- Provide clinical decision-making and recommendations for medications subject to prior authorization and appeals
- Develop position papers, medication coverage policies, and formulary recommendations based on scientific literature
- Engage in peer-to-peer conversations with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal clinical outcomes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a clinical acute care or hospital setting
- Active and unrestricted pharmacy license in the state of practice
- Successful completion of a pharmacy residency or advanced degree in a health-related field preferred
- Strong clinical pharmacy background with knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare regulations
