Key Responsibilities

• Evaluates and authorizes prior authorization pharmacy requests using clinical criteria
• Communicates prior authorization decisions and pharmacy benefit coverage to relevant parties
• Serves as a mentor and training resource for team members while ensuring a positive team environment

Required Qualifications

• GED or High School diploma
• Active pharmacy technician licensure or registration per state requirements
• 2+ years of pharmacy experience
• In-depth knowledge of specialty injectable prescription drugs and medical terminology
• Proficiency in pharmacy computerized systems and MS Office Product Suite
