Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Pharmacy Technician Sr.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluates and authorizes prior authorization pharmacy requests, communicating decisions to relevant parties
• Monitors staffing levels and serves as a training resource and mentor for team members
• Escalates complex requests to a Pharmacist and documents prior authorization outcomes

Required Qualifications

• GED or High School diploma
• Active pharmacy technician licensure or registration as per state requirements
• 2+ years of pharmacy experience
• In-depth knowledge of specialty injectable prescription drugs and health plan formulary management
• Proficiency in pharmacy computerized systems and MS Office applications
