Job Summary
A company is looking for a Clinical Pharmacy Technician Sr.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluates and authorizes prior authorization pharmacy requests from prescribers
- Communicates prior authorization criteria and pharmacy benefit coverage to relevant stakeholders
- Serves as a training resource and mentor, while monitoring team performance and best practices
Required Qualifications
- GED or High School diploma
- Active pharmacy technician licensure or registration according to state requirements
- 2+ years of pharmacy experience
- In-depth knowledge of specialty injectable prescription drugs and health plan formulary management
- Proficiency in pharmacy computerized systems and MS Office applications
