Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Evaluates and authorizes prior authorization pharmacy requests from prescribers
Communicates prior authorization criteria and pharmacy benefit coverage to relevant stakeholders
Serves as a training resource and mentor while monitoring team performance

Required Qualifications

GED or High School diploma
Active pharmacy technician licensure or registration in accordance with state requirements
2+ years of pharmacy experience
In-depth knowledge of specialty injectable prescription drugs and medical terminology
Proficiency in pharmacy computerized systems and MS Office Product Suite
