Job Summary
To ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards, the remote State Licensed Clinical Quality Auditor will conduct internal audits, assess clinical appropriateness, and collaborate with teams to drive continuous quality improvement in a part-time capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct internal clinical and quality audits of DMEPOS products and services to ensure compliance with standards
- Review patient medical records and documentation to evaluate clinical appropriateness and adherence to guidelines
- Identify trends and risks, partnering with teams to develop and implement corrective actions
Required qualifications
- Active licensure as a healthcare professional (RN, LPN, RRT, CRT, or relevant clinical certification)
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Clinical Studies, or a related field (preferred)
- 3-5 years of clinical experience in a healthcare, DMEPOS, or medical device environment
- 2-3 years of experience in quality auditing or compliance within a healthcare setting (preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of DMEPOS regulations and industry standards, including CMS guidelines
