State Licensed Clinical Services VP

Job Summary

Leading clinical operations for a nationwide telehealth clinic, the remote VP, Clinical Services will manage a large team of providers to ensure exceptional patient care, operational efficiency, and clinical quality while collaborating closely with various departments and maintaining a small patient panel.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and scale clinical operations across a multidisciplinary team, ensuring evidence-based care and an excellent patient experience
• Own clinical operating performance metrics, including SLAs, capacity, and operational efficiency, in partnership with Practice Operations and Finance
• Set the clinical operations strategy and drive practice transformation in collaboration with executive leadership

Required qualifications

• MD/DO, board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Endocrinology, or relevant subspecialty, with active licensure
• ABOM certification or strong commitment to become ABOM certified after joining
• 5+ years of clinical practice experience, preferably in obesity medicine and chronic metabolic disease treatment
• 3+ years of clinical leadership experience in a large virtual or telehealth practice with multi-state operations
• Exceptional people leadership skills with a commitment to team culture, clinician wellness, and diversity and inclusion
