A company is looking for a Closing Attorney to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Review legal documents and ensure compliance with Newtek and SBA policies
• Coordinate loan closings and act as a liaison with borrower counsel and title companies
• Prepare loan documents for legal enforceability and oversee the collection of executed documents

Required Qualifications

• Juris doctorate from a nationally recognized law school
• Admission to state bar in good standing
• Minimum of 2 - 5 years of SBA or commercial loan closing experience preferred
• Strong understanding of SBA regulations and commercial loan documentation
• Proficient with MS Office suite
