Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinician Coding Liaison in Medical Specialties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver proactive coding education through various formats covering coding guidelines and payer requirements
  • Lead onboarding and compliance training for clinicians to ensure accurate documentation
  • Serve as the primary contact for coding inquiries and monitor work queues for timely charge submissions


Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Coding Specialist (CCS), or Professional Coder (CPC) certification required
  • Completion of advanced training through a recognized or accredited program, with a high school diploma or GED required
  • Typically requires 4 years of experience in expert-level professional coding
  • In-depth knowledge of ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
