State Licensed Commercial Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Counsel, Commercial Transaction and Litigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a legal advisor on commercial operations, negotiating and drafting complex agreements
• Oversee litigation matters and manage commercial disputes from inception to conclusion
• Provide legal advice on employment law, M&A transactions, and compliance with applicable laws

Qualifications & Experience

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and active licensure in at least one U.S. territory for 3-5 years
• 1-3 years of experience in a corporate legal department in a regulated industry preferred
• Prior in-house and litigation experience preferred
• Familiarity with publicly traded company matters and SEC filings
• Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
