Job Summary
Seeking a full-time, remote State Licensed Commercial Counsel, the role will manage data licensing agreements, technology transactions, and various commercial contracts while collaborating with internal teams to translate legal risks into business-oriented recommendations.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements including data licensing, technology, and procurement contracts
- Own commercial matters from intake through negotiation and execution
- Identify opportunities to streamline legal operations and shape scalable legal processes as the company grows
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) with active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
- Strong academic credentials and foundational legal training
- Experience drafting and negotiating sophisticated commercial and technology agreements
- Excellent legal judgment and ability to assess business impact of risks
- Strong intellectual curiosity and adaptability to learn emerging legal areas
