State Licensed Commercial Counsel
Job Summary
To support a growing legal team, the part-time State Licensed Commercial Counsel will prepare Request for Proposal responses, negotiate and administer contracts, and provide legal guidance on transactional agreements in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, negotiate, and manage contracts, including sales agreements and licensing agreements
- Provide legal advice on transactional agreements and assess risk exposure for the company
- Assist with contract disputes and respond to legal inquiries related to business initiatives
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor Degree or international equivalent with 4+ years of corporate transactional experience
- Admission to the Bar of at least one state or jurisdiction
- Experience with government Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and technology-related agreements
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills, with a pragmatic approach to legal issues
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
