Job Summary
Seeking a mid-to-senior level State Licensed Commercial Technology Attorney, the full-time remote position will focus on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial technology agreements while advising business units on legal and regulatory matters in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate U.S. and international commercial technology agreements, including SaaS and cloud services agreements
- Advise business units on software contracting, commercial risk, and data privacy requirements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Compliance teams while managing relationships with external counsel
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and licensed to practice in at least one U.S. state
- 5+ years of experience in commercial contracting, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment
- Strong knowledge of software, cloud, data, and commercial contract law
- Understanding of U.S. data privacy requirements and familiarity with global privacy concepts
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with strong business judgment
