Job Summary
Specializing in complex Allied Health claims, the full-time State Licensed Complex Loss Specialist will manage high exposure losses, conduct thorough investigations, and provide strategic analysis and presentations to senior executives while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate and evaluate complex healthcare liability claims, including medical malpractice and professional liability exposures
- Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication throughout the claims process
- Draft reservation of rights letters and coverage denial communications for supervisor review, while documenting all activities in claim files
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of claims experience, with a focus on complex Allied Health claims
- College degree or equivalent claims management experience required
- Active individual adjusting license for a designated home State
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Minimum of 10 years of litigation management experience preferred
