Job Summary
A company is looking for a Sr Compliance Coordinator to minimize organizational risk through compliance audits, investigations, and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts compliance audits and prepares governmental disclosures
- Develops and implements training programs for compliance with healthcare regulations
- Manages internal investigations and facilitates external investigations by regulatory agencies
Required Qualifications:
- AAS or BS in Health Information Management or Health Care Administration
- Minimum five years of healthcare experience with at least three years in healthcare compliance
- Extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT coding principles
- Formal training in auditing is preferred
- Relevant certifications such as RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or CCS-P are required
