State Licensed Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Compliance Specialist to perform audits and support compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit records and perform coder audits based on established plans
• Report audit findings to relevant stakeholders
• Create corrective action plans for coding, billing, and documentation issues

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required
• 1 year of experience required
• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) preferred
• Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed
• Relevant certifications from AHIMA or AAPC preferred
