Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote State Licensed Construction Defect Adjuster, the Senior Construction Defect Adjuster will manage complex, multi-party construction defect claims, focusing on coverage analysis, risk transfer management, and providing mentorship to less experienced adjusters.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate high exposure construction claims by engaging with insureds, agents, attorneys, and other relevant parties
• Interpret and determine policies and contracts, particularly regarding Additional Insured claims across multiple policy types
• Provide proactive communication regarding claim processes and status while mentoring junior adjusters

Required qualifications

• Deep expertise in managing complex construction defect claims and additional insured endorsements
• Extensive knowledge of policies, endorsements, and the claim handling process
• Demonstrated negotiation skills with general contractor attorneys and adjusters
• State-specific all lines claim licensing as required
• Ability to make independent decisions while recognizing when to seek assistance
