Job Summary
To support a growing legal team, the full-time remote State Licensed Corporate Attorney will manage commercial contracting, drive compliance with global laws related to privacy and AI, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure compliance-by-design principles are embedded throughout the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Assess customer and vendor contracts for privacy risks and compliance with data security laws
- Maintain corporate policies and legal documentation aligned with U.S. and international regulations
- Conduct risk assessments and advise on data handling practices for new business initiatives
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and bar admission in at least one U.S. state
- 3+ years of relevant experience in corporate law, particularly in privacy and data security
- Deep knowledge of GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other applicable privacy laws
- Experience advising technology companies on regulatory compliance matters
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and manage a diverse portfolio of legal matters
