State Licensed Corporate Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate Counsel I (Sales) to manage risk in the drafting and negotiation of sales contracts and related agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements while advising on associated risks
• Negotiate favorable terms with internal stakeholders for commercial transactions
• Maintain accurate reports on contract status and assist in creating internal policies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college
• Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school
• 0-3+ years of experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and/or management
• Membership in a State Bar and qualified to practice law as an in-house attorney in the US
• Preferred: Certified Contract Manager (IACCM or NCMA certifications)
