Job Summary
To support a growing legal team, the full-time remote State Licensed Corporate Counsel will manage day-to-day legal operations, lead global privacy compliance efforts, and negotiate commercial contracts while collaborating with internal stakeholders and outside counsel.
Key responsibilities
- Execute global privacy compliance efforts, including drafting policies and managing data protection operations
- Lead the negotiation of commercial contracts and streamline the contract lifecycle management process
- Advise Product and Engineering teams on legal implications and maintain public-facing legal documents
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in at least one US state
- 3-5+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in-house at a SaaS or technology company
- Deep knowledge of federal, state, and global privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA)
- Familiarity with SaaS procurement models and vendor security review processes
- Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification is a strong plus
