State Licensed Corporate Counsel

Job Summary

Partnering with cross-functional teams, the full-time remote State Licensed Corporate Counsel will provide legal guidance on commercial transactions, vendor relationships, and emerging products while supporting a growing cybersecurity company.

Key responsibilities

• Structure and negotiate creative legal solutions for commercial transactions in collaboration with the Sales organization and external customers
• Maintain and improve contract templates, negotiation guidance, and self-service resources alongside the Commercial Legal team
• Support procurement initiatives through vendor contract review and policy guidance while proactively identifying legal considerations for new products

Required qualifications

• JD degree and active admission to at least one U.S. state bar
• Minimum of five years of relevant legal experience, ideally with two or more years in-house at a technology company
• Experience managing commercial agreements throughout the full contract lifecycle
• Familiarity with technology-focused commercial contracting, SaaS transactions, and data privacy issues
• Knowledge of legal operations processes and modern legal technology tools, with experience in contract lifecycle management platforms preferred
