Job Summary
Leading contract development and management initiatives, the full-time Sr. Corporate Counsel will independently draft, review, and negotiate various contracts while ensuring compliance with company policies in a remote setting, requiring availability during Eastern or Central Standard Time hours.
Key responsibilities
- Independently draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of contracts, including product distribution and clinical trial agreements
- Identify legal issues and business risks, communicating them effectively to internal decision-makers
- Train business teams on contract templates and good contracting practices while enhancing the company's contract management system
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school with 8+ years of directly related experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience at an AM Law 100 firm and 4+ years as in-house counsel
- Extensive experience with drafting and negotiating CDA, MSA, and SOW agreements
- Must be admitted to practice in the state of residence
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry is a plus
