Job Summary
Supporting initiatives related to design, construction, and infrastructure, the full-time State Licensed Corporate Counsel will manage legal matters across the full lifecycle of data center development, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various agreements, while collaborating with internal teams and external counsel in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements related to construction, engineering, and energy procurement
- Advise internal stakeholders on risk allocation and compliance issues within construction and energy agreements
- Support procurement initiatives and maintain standard templates and contracting processes
Required qualifications
- 4-8 years of experience in construction law or infrastructure projects, with a focus on energy law and commercial contracting preferred
- Experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, particularly EPC and design agreements
- Strong business judgment with the ability to provide practical legal advice
- Exceptional multi-tasking skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Active member of a state bar with a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
