Job Summary

To support corporate growth, the full-time salaried Corporate Development Counsel will manage legal aspects of M&A and strategic investments, overseeing due diligence, negotiation, and integration processes in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Structure, draft, and negotiate transaction documents for acquisitions and investments
• Lead the legal due diligence process, coordinating with internal specialists and summarizing findings
• Serve as the primary legal advisor to the Corporate Development team, providing strategic advice on deal structures and negotiation strategies

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with active state bar membership
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant legal experience focused on M&A, including hands-on experience in drafting and negotiating complex agreements
• Expertise in corporate law, contract law, and securities law
• Experience at a law firm in its M&A/Corporate practice is strongly preferred
• Strong ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly to non-legal stakeholders
