State Licensed Corporate Counsel

Job Summary

Supporting initiatives related to design and construction, the full-time State Licensed Corporate Counsel in Construction & Infrastructure will draft, review, and negotiate various agreements while collaborating with internal teams and external counsel in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate construction, engineering, and energy procurement agreements
• Advise internal stakeholders on risk allocation and compliance with contractual obligations
• Collaborate with business teams to support procurement initiatives and standardize contracts

Required qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience in construction law or infrastructure projects
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, including EPC and design agreements
• Strong business judgment with the ability to provide practical legal advice
• Exceptional multi-tasking skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• Active member of a state bar with a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
