Job Summary
Supporting the General Litigation & Disputes team, the full-time remote State Licensed Corporate Counsel will manage a high-volume, multi-jurisdictional caseload, providing legal analysis, overseeing outside counsel, and assisting with internal investigations and compliance matters.
Key responsibilities
- Provide legal analysis and guidance on litigation, disputes, contracts, and risk-related issues
- Assist with the engagement and oversight of outside counsel, including monitoring status and budgets
- Conduct legal research and prepare written analyses on litigation and compliance matters
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in good standing in at least one state
- Approximately 1-4 years of litigation experience, preferably in real estate or related fields
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Working knowledge of civil litigation procedures and basic contract principles
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters across jurisdictions
