Job Summary

To support health education initiatives, a State Licensed Curriculum Developer will work remotely as an independent contractor to differentiate the Teens Make Health Happen curriculum for middle and high school students and develop facilitator training resources over a project-based engagement lasting approximately three months.

Key responsibilities
  • Differentiate existing curriculum content and develop age-appropriate materials aligned with national health education standards
  • Create and pilot four facilitator training sessions with accompanying materials for mentor facilitators working with teens
  • Collaborate with HealthCorps staff to incorporate feedback and deliver final curriculum and training resources in editable formats
Required qualifications
  • Valid formal teaching credential (state-issued; elementary, secondary, or multiple subject)
  • Experience with curriculum differentiation for middle and high school grade bands
  • Familiarity with classroom management strategies and informal learning environments
  • Understanding of developmental differences between middle school and high school age groups
  • Excellent written communication skills for producing polished instructional materials
