Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time State Licensed Cytogenetics Analyst will perform chromosome analysis, review test requisitions, and summarize test results while working remotely from the US.
Key responsibilities
- Perform analysis of chromosomes, including imaging and karyotyping of cytogenetic specimens
- Review test requisitions and summarize test results using ISCN nomenclature
- Report accurate and timely test results while complying with company policies and procedures
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
- 4 years or more of clinical laboratory testing experience
- Experience in Oncology Cytogenetics and cytogenetic analysis preferred
- Certification by the National Credentialing Agency (NCA) in Cytogenetics (CLSp-CG) or ASCP Certification in Cytogenetics (ASCP CG)
- Experience with cytogenetic analysis of metaphase spreads via computerized images
