State Licensed Cytogenetics Analyst

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time State Licensed Cytogenetics Analyst will perform chromosome analysis, review test requisitions, and summarize test results while working remotely from the US.

Key responsibilities

• Perform analysis of chromosomes, including imaging and karyotyping of cytogenetic specimens
• Review test requisitions and summarize test results using ISCN nomenclature
• Report accurate and timely test results while complying with company policies and procedures

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
• 4 years or more of clinical laboratory testing experience
• Experience in Oncology Cytogenetics and cytogenetic analysis preferred
• Certification by the National Credentialing Agency (NCA) in Cytogenetics (CLSp-CG) or ASCP Certification in Cytogenetics (ASCP CG)
• Experience with cytogenetic analysis of metaphase spreads via computerized images
