Job Summary
Providing expert guidance on dental infection control, the remote Subject Matter Expert III will assist the CDC in developing recommendations and educational materials while serving as a key contact for collaborative efforts in infection prevention strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise in dental infection prevention to inform CDC recommendations
- Assist in the development of guidance materials promoting best practices in dental infection control
- Participate in CDC response activities and contribute to educational efforts related to dental HAI prevention
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Current, unrestricted dental license
- 7-10 years of progressively responsible dental/clinical experience with a focus on infection prevention and control
- Expertise in CDC dental infection-control guidance and relevant infection-prevention standards
- Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance
