State Licensed Deputy General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Deputy General Counsel (DGC).

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior advisor on legal risk, regulatory exposure, and strategic initiatives
• Lead and oversee complex legal matters across multiple business units and jurisdictions
• Partner with leadership to define and execute legal strategy aligned with business objectives

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 15+ years of progressive legal experience with significant leadership responsibility
• Substantial experience in commercial software, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology
• Proven ability to manage enterprise legal operations and teams
