State Licensed Deputy General Counsel

Job Summary

Leading the Legal Department's operations, the full-time remote Vice President, Deputy General Counsel will oversee legal services delivery, manage mergers and acquisitions, and provide litigation oversight while driving business growth through strategic legal guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day operations of the Legal Department to ensure efficient service delivery aligned with business objectives
• Oversee mergers, acquisitions, and corporate transactions, including due diligence and negotiation
• Manage litigation, claims, and dispute strategies, including oversight of outside counsel

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 12+ years of progressive legal experience, including significant in-house leadership experience
• Demonstrated experience in leading legal operations and managing corporate transactions
• Significant experience overseeing litigation and outside counsel strategy
• Familiarity with commercial contracting, technology transactions, and data governance
