State Licensed Deputy General Counsel

Job Summary

Providing strategic legal guidance across a diverse product portfolio, the full-time remote State Licensed Deputy General Counsel will advise on regulatory compliance, data privacy, and responsible AI governance while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support product development and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Advise Product and Engineering teams on legal and regulatory requirements, including FDA compliance and AI-driven health insights
• Provide legal guidance on data privacy and healthcare compliance issues related to product design and data use
• Support responsible AI governance and collaborate on legal matters concerning telehealth services and health information exchange

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of legal experience in healthcare, digital health, or health technology, with a focus on product counseling and regulatory compliance
• Experience with FDA-regulated software or digital health products is strongly preferred
• Strong AI fluency and familiarity with AI governance frameworks
• Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school and active license in good standing with a state bar
• Significant exposure to regulatory issues in digital health and healthcare compliance
