Job Summary
Serving as a strategic partner to the General Counsel, the full-time remote State Licensed Deputy General Counsel will provide comprehensive legal advice across corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters while leading initiatives to optimize legal operations and reduce costs.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic legal advice to executive leadership on enterprise risks and governance
- Lead the redesign of legal functions to enhance service delivery and cost-effectiveness
- Oversee corporate governance matters, including Board support and compliance initiatives
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
- 12+ years of progressively responsible legal experience, including significant in-house experience
- 10+ years of leadership experience in legal roles
- Expertise in designing and managing lower-cost, technology-enabled legal delivery models
