Job Summary
Serving as a key legal advisor, the full-time salaried State Licensed Deputy General Counsel will manage commercial contracts, provide guidance on privacy and data protection, and support employment matters while collaborating closely with various business units.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements while partnering with Sales and Product teams to align business goals with legal risk
- Advise on privacy compliance matters and develop internal policies related to data governance and AI usage
- Support Human Resources on employment-related legal issues and assist in managing corporate governance and risk management initiatives
Required qualifications
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school with active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction
- Significant in-house experience as a generalist across commercial contracts, privacy, and employment law
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multiple legal disciplines
- High personal standards of excellence, ethics, and discretion in handling sensitive matters
- Genuine interest in the evolving fields of privacy law and ad tech
