State Licensed Distribution Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a remote full-time State Licensed Distribution Engineer, the position involves executing distribution planning, conducting DER interconnection impact studies, and performing arc flash and coordination studies for various utility clients while engaging in some business development activities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct distribution planning and analysis, including load flow and regulatory compliance studies
• Perform arc flash assessments and coordinate with clients on project needs
• Engage in business development activities to expand the client portfolio

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in power system modeling and analysis
• Proficiency with power system modeling tools such as CYME's CYMDist or Milsoft's WindMil
• Experience with Python scripting is a plus
• Must possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license
