Job Summary

A company is looking for a Division Counsel, Default Title Operations who will provide high-level legal advice and strategic guidance to the default title business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess operational and legal risks within default title business lines
• Create and implement operational disciplines and training to minimize risk and claims
• Develop claims handling policies and provide legal support for complex default transactional issues

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of legal experience, preferably in mortgage loan default matters
• Admitted to the state bar and in good standing
• Strong background in regulatory compliance
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in a fast-paced legal environment
