Job Summary
To support a leading remote cEEG monitoring service, the part-time State Licensed EEG Technologist will independently monitor multiple patients, detect EEG abnormalities, and communicate findings to neurologists while working remotely for a minimum of 12-16 hours per week.
Key responsibilities:
- Continuously monitor EEG recordings, identifying and documenting abnormalities
- Operate and troubleshoot EEG instruments and software to ensure accurate data collection
- Maintain compliance with industry standards and company policies through proper documentation
Required qualifications:
- ABRET board certification (R. EEGT); CLTM preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in long-term monitoring (cEEG) in ICU and EMU settings
- Strong knowledge of neurological anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
- Familiarity with Nihon Kohden, Cadwell, and Xltek EEG equipment preferred
- Reliable high-speed internet and a secure workspace compliant with HIPAA regulations
