Job Summary
Working remotely on a per diem basis, the Intermittent Monitoring Technologist will be responsible for patient monitoring, documentation, and technical troubleshooting during weekend night shifts, ensuring high-quality patient care and recording integrity.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor up to 12 patients per CPT intermittent monitoring standards, ensuring thorough checks and documentation
- Troubleshoot equipment and recording integrity remotely, providing timely follow-up on any issues
- Complete patient calls for skin and event checks, and report incidents to Department Directors
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical EEG monitoring experience required
- Active ABRET credential (R. EEG T. or equivalent registration) required
- Proven ability to handle minimal-error technical troubleshooting and remote equipment management
- Must work a minimum of 8 shifts per month
- Adhere to company policies for patient checks and recording integrity
