Job Summary
Leading the planning and execution of statewide election-night results collection, the full-time State Licensed Election Coordinator will manage a network of 100-150 stringers responsible for gathering official results in jurisdictions requiring manual data collection, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Research and validate state and county-level election reporting processes, identifying jurisdictions needing manual results collection
- Build and manage a statewide network of stringers, ensuring full coverage and developing staffing plans for contingencies
- Lead election-night operations, monitoring stringer activity, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining communication with central operations teams
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of U.S. election systems and county-level reporting
- Experience managing distributed or contract-based teams in high-pressure environments
- Ability to make independent operational decisions and adjust plans in real time
- Strong organizational skills for tracking staffing and operational readiness across large areas
