Job Summary
To support improved patient care in a non-clinical setting, the part-time State Licensed Electrophysiologist Director will provide expert reviews for cardiovascular cases, conduct peer-to-peer discussions with providers, and collaborate with clinical staff, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Provide expert reviews for Electrophysiology and Diagnostic Cardiology cases that require further evaluation
- Conduct peer-to-peer discussions with treating providers to ensure high-value care aligned with clinical guidelines
- Collaborate with leadership and clinical staff to address complex cases and support decision-making
Required qualifications
- MD/DO/MBBS Degree with a current, unrestricted clinical license in medicine or required specialty
- Active Board Certification in Electrophysiology or equivalent qualifications in Cardiology
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in the practice of Electrophysiology preferred
- Strong clinical, management, communication, and organizational skills
- No history of major disciplinary or legal action by a state medical board
