Job Summary
A company is looking for an Eligibility Specialist to manage patient eligibility and benefits investigations for specialty pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct benefits investigations and document outcomes in the appropriate tools
- Collaborate with team members to enhance patient care and identify operational improvements
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and participate in ongoing educational opportunities
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High school diploma or GED is required
- 0-1 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- State pharmacy technician license is required; national certification is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to learn and navigate Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Pharmacy Dispensing Systems (PDS)
- Commitment to obtaining any required licensure within an agreed timeframe if not currently held
