Job Summary
To enhance coding compliance and education, the full-time State Licensed E&M Auditor Educator will perform comprehensive audits of physician and clinical fees, develop educational materials, and lead training sessions, all within a remote work environment from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive audits to assess the accuracy of coding and billing practices for physician services
- Develop and execute educational programs and materials based on audit findings and coding compliance trends
- Lead provider education events to discuss audit results and implement action plans for improvement
Required qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications such as AHIMA Certified Coding Specialist or AAPC Certified Professional Coder required
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in E&M coding and provider education
- Strong knowledge of E&M regulations and CMS Documentation Guidelines
- Experience in data abstraction and developing coding education materials
- Proficiency in ICD10CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
