State Licensed Employment Associate

Job Summary

Providing practical legal support, the remote Employment Associate will advise on employment matters, draft and negotiate agreements, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on workplace policies and investigations.

Key responsibilities

• Advise internal business partners on employment matters and workplace policies
• Draft, review, and negotiate offer letters, employment agreements, and severance agreements
• Coordinate with outside counsel and internal teams on employment investigations and disputes

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
• 3+ years of relevant employment law experience at a law firm, in-house legal department, or both
• Strong drafting and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with non-legal stakeholders
